Ocotea Essential Oil
 Ocotea Essential Oil—Young Living’s newest oil from Ecuador—has a warm, spicy aroma, plus the highest known levels of alpha-humulene.
Wild-crafted and distilled at Finca Botanica Aromatica—the Young Living farm in
Ecuador—ocotea is harvested from a tree found in the Amazon Basin. Ocotea is used for its
antiseptic and antidiarrheal properties*.
Traditionally, natives used ocotea’s sweet, cinnamon-based scent to aromatize sweets and
cakes, but ocotea’s therapeutic properties differ from traditional cinnamon. Containing
one of the highest levels of alpha-humalene of all essential oils, ocotea can be used to
balance the body’s internal response to irritation when applied topically or taken
internally as a dietary supplement*.
How To Use
- Topical application: Dilute 1–4 drops with
