Young Living's Essential Cold-Air Oil Diffuser disperses essential oils without
heating them so they retain their therapeutic benefits. WIth Young Living's®
innovative air pump, oils are dispersed in a microfine vapor, allowing them
to remain suspended in the air for extended periods of time.
Essential oil blends that contain vegetable oils may diffuse slower than other oils.
How to use the Diffuser: The Young Living Diffuser consists of an air pump, an oil
well base, and a glass nebulizer connected by a flexible air tube. Attached to the air tube
is a flow control valve. You can set the pump on the floor or under a table so that it is out

Here are a few suggestions for cleaning the glass diffuser tube from distributors.
I use our Thieves Cleaner ... works great every time. Just let it soak in hot water with
a little bit of Thieves, no measurement. I have a few glass tubes that I clean together
and just tip the bottle of Thieves Cleaner in the hot water and let soak ... rinse
and air dry. Sometimes if the glass is sticky,
I use a pipe cleaner gently inside with the soapy water.
Hope that helps.
Yours in better health ... naturally,
Jackie
I soaked my glass diffuser tube first in warm soapy water. That didn't remove
all the residue, so I tried vinegar. Better ... but not sufficient. Then I
used Thieves cleaner "neat" and that did the trick!
Sue Olmos, CTPM
I have found that good old fashioned rubbing alcohol takes all the old sticky oils
out of every nook and cranny just as fast and slick as a whistle. I take my tube
and plug one end with my finger, pour a little in, plug the other end and shake
it around a bit. I do that a couple of times or until it looks like I liquified
all the old oils. Then I just rinse with water and a smidge of dish soap and
let it air dry. Quick and easy! - Pat
Massage
By adding essential oils to your massage oil (We recommend V-6 Vegetable Mixing Oil)base you recieve the best aromatherapy treatment. The skin is touched, circulation is increased, and the essential oils are absorbed and inhaled.
- For massage, all single oils and blends may be used.
- They all may be mixed with V-6 Mixing Oil.
- Use Raindrop Therapy oils.
- Use premixed massage oils, such as Desert Breeze and Ortho Sport.
Compress
How to Create a Compress
Rub 1-3 drops of an essential oil on desired location.
Cover with a hot,damp towel.
Place a dry towel over the damp one
Leave on for 30 minutes.
If there is too much warming, dilute with V-6 Mixing Oil.
Perfume
Essential oils are the perfect alternative to synthetic fragrances without all the harsh chemicals that are usually tested on animals. Essential oils are pure and natural and by using a carrier oil you may apply directly to the skin and reap the therapeutic benefits along with the fragrance.
Bath
One of the most delightful ways of experiencing an aromatherapy treatment is in the bath!
I like adding 5-10 drops to the water just before getting in. Also, mix with Bath Gel Base as a dispersing agent. Relax while inhaling and absorbing the aromatic essential oils.
Inhalation
Simple -Carry your precious vial with you EVERYWHERE and open-up and whiff.
Skin Care
Essential oils are very beneficial for the skin as they are easily penetrated into the skin tissue helping and encouraging healthy
cell developement. Add essential oils to a natural cleanser, toner, moisturizer, etc. to promote a healthy complexion.

Getting Started
The best place to begin is with a few oils that have a wide range of applications.
This gives you a chance to experiment without having to spend a lot of money. The Essential 7 kit is a perfect way to do this.
Cautions
Avoid putting oils into eyes or ears.
Avoid using citrus oils, such as lemon, bergamot, tangerine, grapefruit and orange, when expeosed to direct sunlight.
Avoid mixing blends as this may reduce effectiveness.
Keep oils out of reach of small children.
Keep oils away from direct sunlight and high heat.
Discontinue using an oil if redness or irritation occurs.
If you are pregnant or under a doctor's care,
consult your physician before using the oils.
Here's how Gary Young, ND puts it:
"As people become acquainted with essential oils, they always say that there are so many oils and oil products that they don't know where to start. So I put together what I call the Essential 7, which is a great way for anyone to begin to use and understand the oils. All seven oils can be diffused, worn as perfume, applied to the Vita Flex points on the feet, added to bath water, applied on location or used with body and foot massage." D.
